The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) now requires all information from the surety company to be submitted and filed electronically. Physically issued and filed paper bond documentation is no longer required.

You (or anyone else interested) can verify a company's FMCSA authority and BMC-84 bond status here at any time.
