You'll only receive a new surety bond form for your next renewal term if your state or other bond holder (also known as the "obligee") requires one. Don't worry, this isn't something you need to know yourself or keep track of. Our team maintains a comprehensive bond library that logs renewal requirements for every single bond we sell.

If you don't need to file new documentation with your obligee at renewal, it means your bond form is written as "continuous," non-expiring," or "continues until canceled." Your original bond stays active and on file with your obligee, and no new documentation needs to be filed at renewal unless your previous bond is canceled by written notice

If you need help finalizing your renewal purchase or filing renewal documentation with your obligee, call 1 (800) 308-4358 or email customercare@suretybonds.com, and one of our friendly representatives will be happy to help.
