How do I know if my bond is up for renewal?

This article explains how clients can find out if their bond is up for renewal.

Last updated on 28 Oct, 2021

If your bond is eligible for renewal, SuretyBonds.com will notify you about 90 days before the new term is set to begin. Sometimes you might receive your first renewal notice a little earlier or later than the exact 90-day mark, but we'll always give you plenty of notice to renew your bond in time for your next term.

You will receive both email and phone reminders until your renewal is paid or until you advise us the bond is no longer needed and should be canceled. Please add customercare@suretybonds.com to your contacts and/or safe sender list to ensure you receive all reminders.

Sometimes additional information is needed before we can send a renewal invoice for the next term. You should always open all email correspondence from SuretyBonds.com to be sure your account information is up to date.

Whether your bond needs to be renewed is always at your obligee's discretion. If you're unsure if you need to renew an existing bond, you should contact the obligee you filed it with.

If you have any questions about your current bond or an upcoming renewal, call 1 (800) 308-4358 or email customercare@suretybonds.com, and one of our friendly representatives will be happy to help.
